As part of our involvement with the Great Southern Homelessness Forum, Shalom Inc. was able to coordinate some necessary training for community and health services workers on working with clients using drugs and alcohol, specifically Methamphetamines.

Thank You Ryde!

Thank You Ryde!

We would like to give a heartfelt thanks to the Ryde building company for their generous donation of 10x- 90×45 pine timber 3.2m, 12m strapping/hoop iron, 80- 50mm tech screws and 3x bags rapid set concrete to help us build our wood shed. Your donation and community support is greatly appreciated. Also big ups to our work experience guy Ryan (pictured) for organising it all for us! Ryan, you are a gem!

Community Connections

Community Connections

In our commitment to improving care we continue to work closely with numerous services within the local community. As part of this commitment we are heavily involved with supporting the Albany Community Relief Agencies (ACRA) network and bi-monthly meetings and the Great Southern Homelessness Forums (GSHF).

Who We Are Helping

Who We Are Helping

Homelessness is not as evident in Albany as the major cities. We don’t have the street present homeless as they or less developed countries have. Homelessness is, however, a big problem in Albany and Shalom does actually do… things. And yes, the homeless in your own town do need your help. The following is a snap shot of the people Shalom helps.
