Services Offered
Shalom House
Shalom House provides ‘shelter based’ crisis accommodation for men (18 and over) who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The service operates all year round and provides residential care, assessment, individualised support, and referral to other support services. Clients are able to book in one day prior or on the day for up to 2 weeks on a trial basis. There is a possibility that this can be extended if the client abides by the Shalom rules and demonstrates a responsible and cooperative attitude with staff and other clients, and is proactive in contacting relevant service providers to address their homeless status. If you or someone you know would like to book a room, please contact the office on the information listed in the contacts page of this site or present at 320 Albany Highway by 5pm. Waitlist and early requests cannot be accepted.
